The Exam date for  Odisha Civil Service Mains Exam is 05-Feb-2016 to 07-Feb-2016. Admit Card :- Candidates who applied for the Post will have to download the admit card to appear in the written Exam. So Admit card is available to download in the Official website. The admit is also available in our website in the form of direct link to download. Admit is important to download, without the admit card you will not be able to enter in the Examination hall. The Admit Card will be in the form of e-admit card you have to take print out of e-admit card form the official website and take it with you in the Examination hall.

Main Exam Pattern :- Main examination has consist of following papers and each paper Will be of 3 hours. The Interview will be of 250 marks.

Paper Subject Marks
Paper-I Oriya Language 300 Marks
Paper-II English 300 Marks
Paper-III English Essay 200 Marks
Paper-IV General Studies-I 300 Marks
Paper-V General Studies-II 300 Marks
Paper-VI, VII, VIII & IX Any two subjects from the optional subjects 300 Marks for each paper

The Commission has acquired varied experiences and expertise in the matter of selection of personnel to various services of the Government of Odisha during its functioning for more than five decades. It has also gone a long way in achieving the purpose of drawing the best personnel for the public services of Odisha.

OPSC will conduct Civil Judge Main Exam in the Upcoming months. Candidates who qualified the Civil judge Pre Exam are eligible to attend its Mains Exam. Odisha PSC has been uploaded a Notice regarding date of OJS Mains Exam on its website, the main written examination is to be conducted four weeks after the publication of the results of the Preliminary Examination.

Exam Pattern :

  • Written Exam will be descriptive (narrative) type.
  • There will be two compulsory papers and three optional papers.
