Ordnance Factory Recruitment Center has announced about the vacancy of 41103880 posts of Semi Skilled grade Industrial Employees (IEs) Group ‘C in various Ordnance Factories located across India. Candidates submitted there application form till the date 26 June 2017.   We are providing here all the details of the syllabus .candidates can prepare with the help of syllabus. Candidates who filled the application form for vacancy of 41103880 posts of Semi Skilled grade Industrial Employees (IEs) Group ‘C in various Ordnance Factories located across India.  All those Candidates who have applied for the above vacancies, are very much tensed about the Exam Pattern & Syllabus.

Exam Pattern : The examination pattern is as follows:

For All Posts (Except the Labour Post)

  1. The exam will be written objective type of one paper.
  2. The Paper is divided into Two Parts.
  3. First part of 20 marks and second part of 80 marks.

For Only Labour Post

  1. The exam will be written objective type of one paper.
  2. The Paper is divided into Three Parts.
  3. First part of 40 marks and second & Third part of 30-30 marks.

  • The  question  paper  for  the  written  examination  shall  be  set  in  Hindi,  English  and  the  local  language.

Exam Syllabus : The Syllabus of Exam is as follows:

For All Posts (Except the Labour Post)

General Science : Question  will  be  aimed  at  testing  the  candidate’s  General  Awareness  of  the  environment  around him.  Question will also be designed to test knowledge of basic science studied upto 10 th standard and would include such matters of every day observations and experience as may be expected of any educated person.

Quantitative Aptitude : The  candidate  will  be  tested for  general mathematics  of upto  10 th Standard  involving  number  systems,  equations  in  two  variables,  simple  and  compound  interest,  perimeter,  area  and  volume  of   geometrical   figures,  Direct   and   inverse   proportions,  Pythagoras   theorem   and  trigonometry.

NCVT Trade :  Questions from the NCVT Syllabus of relevant trade.

Trade Test : The syllabus for trade test (Practical) will be as per trade test specification of semi – skilled grade of the relevant trade, trade test will be merely qualifying nature. It will not decide  the  merit  of  the  selected  candidates.

For Only Labour Post

Numerical Aptitude :

  • Number Systems.
  • Fractions, Decimals and Percentage.
  • Ratio and proportion.
  • Averages.
  • Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount.
  • Time & Distance,
  • Time & Work.

General Science : The questions on science may be set  keeping in view the standard appropriate to High School.  Questions   may   include   subjects   and   activities   which   are   more   relevant   to   day – to – day  existence/activities of human life.

General Awareness :

Current events – National & International 2. History & Culture 3. Ge neral polity and Indian Constitution 4. General Geography.

Trade Test : As   per   trade   test   specifications,   an   unskilled   workman   will   be   mainly   engaged   on  handling / shifting  of  material.  He  will  also  be  required  to  clean  machines,  floors  of  shop/areas  around machines and other similar places, if and as necessary. The trade test may be designed  accordingly to test the aptitude of the candidate. However, this test  will be of qualifying nature only. It will not decide  the  merit  of  the  selected  candidates.
