Punjab Teacher Eligibility Exam Syllabus 2016

The one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/ she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. The candidates who are applied for Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test, they will be selected based on their bases of their performance in written Exam conducted by the State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab. The Written exam will be conducted in two papers….!!!!

  • Paper- I is for the class I to class V.
  • Paper- II is for the class V to class VIII.
  • Candidates who are interested in being Teacher for both the levels, they will have to appear in both the papers.
