CGL SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2017 Notification

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will going to conduct combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2015 to be held in 2017. The official notification for CGL SSC 2017 is going to announce on August 1 to August 20, 2017. However, we have managed to get some details about this entrance exam. As per the latest notification released by SSC, as many as 30, 26, 598 candidates have successfully submitted the application form of SSC CGL 2017 by June 19, 2017 before 5:00 pm.

Latest Update: (19 JULY, 2017):- Recommendations from SSC OFFICIALS with respect to those candidates who are facing difficulty in filling up their application form.

  1. Don’t panic, check your email id that you’ve used while registering via online mode.There should be an email acknowledging “registration has been completed successfully” there you can see it.
  2. If you have prescribed height/weight ( inspector posts) and computer/statical knowledge then almost all the posts. SSC CGL 2017 for Tier I is scheduled to be held between August 1 and August 20, 2017 in online mode.
  3. Check your spam folder and please do not apply again. it will lead to disqualification. Strictly stick to your current registration slip you have printed after registering. Contact officials for any doubts.
  4. Contact officials and DO NOT apply again. If you have done so, your second registration will be considered. send a later to regional office explaining it. Candidates may contact following Regional Help Lines for clarifications, if any, in respect of filling/submitting applications.

Candidates who remitted the application fee for SSC CGL in offline mode using Bank Challan can check application status after at least 48 hours. Once the application status is updated, candidates can download the application form of SSC CGL 2017.

Description:- SSC will conduct CGl exam in two Tiers (Phase). This year candidates have to go through descriptive test, followed by persoality test / computer proficiency test /trade or skill test. Post have been divided into two groups. In group 1 Personal test is required and complusary, while in Group 2, no personal test should be applicable in overall recruitment process. Compiler:- Candidates should have passed graduation or equivalent from any recognized university with  Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory subject.Educational Qualification:-
Any candidate having Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from any recognized university can participate in CGL SSC 2015. Students who are in their final sem or year of graduation can also participate.

  1. Statistical Investigator Grade – II:- Candidates should have passed 10+2 with at least 60% marks in maths or graduation with Statistics studies as compulsory subject.
  2. All Other Posts / Vacancies:- Candidates should have passed graduation in any stream or equivalent from a recognized university or collage.

Age Limit:- Following are the rules and age limit criteria under various post codes.

Online Fees can be submitted through Credit / Debit Card by the candidates and payments can be accepted through secure payment gateway while filling up application form. It can also be paid through E-challan or on-line through SBI Net Banking.Application Fees & Mode of Payment:- ₹ 100 For General & OBC candidates only. Candidates belonging to Women, physically handicapped, ex-servicemen, schedule cast (SC) & schedule tribes categories are exempted to pay any fees. Application fees can be submitted through both online and offline mode. Offline fees can be paid through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled at the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Post Office in such a manner that the impression or the cancellation stamps partially overflows on the Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and Post Office of issue at any subsequent stage.


About The Exam:- Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds every right to conduct this exam in two tiers. (Tier-1 & Tier-2). Besides written exam other tests like Computer Proficiency Test, Interview, Skill test, will be deployed wherever applicable depending upon the post applied by the applicant.

Selection Process:- Candidates have to go through written exam (Tier-1 & Tier-2). Selected candidates have to appear for trade test / interview / typing test depending upon the post requirement. Merit list will be prepared separately for each post on the basis of minimum cut off marks and all the documents will be verified in the final stage of selection.

    I applied for the SSC CGL exam 2016 i mentioned my name as KALAIVANAN (WITHOUT INITIAL) and in my 10th, 12th and graduation certificate my name is mentioned with initial as KALAIVANAN M. It annoying me thinking that may create problem in the future that is in certificate verification.Please guide how to overcome the problem or is there any way to change the name.
