Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination is conducted twice a year by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). Latest Update :- UPSC CDS (I) Admit Card is now available to download. The exam date for the paper is 14-Feb-2016. Candidates can download it from the official website or we are providing the direct link to download the Admit card. The direct link is given below

CDS Exam :- UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will conduct an All India Written Exam for Posts in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, SSC Course &  SSC Women (Non Technical ) Course in January, 2017 at Officers Training Academy, Chennai. All India Written Exam for UPSC CDS (I) is scheduled to be conduct on Feb 2016.

Date of Written Exam :- 14-February 2016.

Admit Card :- Candidates who applied for the Post will have to download the admit card to appear in the written Exam. So Admit card is available to download in the Official website. The admit is also available in our website in the form of direct link to download. Admit is important to download, without the admit card you will not be able to enter in the Examination hall. The Admit Card will be in the form of e-admit card you have to take print out of e-admit card form the official website and take it with you in the Examination hall.

Note :-  It will take you to a Page where you have to select yes to take printout of Important Instructions. then they will ask you for the Details that how can you download the admit card. There is two option is available in the website By Registration Id  or By Roll Number , select one and follow the instruction.

How to Download Admit Card :- Candidates please follow these given steps for comfortably download your respective admit cards.

  • Go to the official website of UPSC i.e.
  • Find e-Admit Card link on the Home Page. Click on that Link.
  • It will take you to Admit Card Download Link.
  • You can download Admit Card by either using your Registration Id/ Roll Number/ Name.
  • Final Step is Fill your Registration Id/ Roll Number/ Name & Date of Birth to Download Admit Card.

CDS Exam Process :- UPSC CDS exam has two phase process. First phase is Written Test & Second phase is Intelligence Test/ Personality Test. The Scheme of CDS exam is given below.

  • There will be Three papers for IMA, NA & AFA & 2 Papers for OTA.
  • All Papers carry 100 Marks.
  • Time Duration for each Papers will be 2 hours.
  • There will be provision of SSB interview. Personality Test/ Interview will be of 300 Marks for IMA, NA, AFA & 200 Marks for OTA.
